Responsibilities

• Represent individuals, businesses, and other clients in a variety of civil litigation matters.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Develop case strategies and evaluate legal claims, defenses, potential exposure, and litigation risks.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, as appropriate.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, litigation strategy, potential outcomes, and resolution options.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address complex legal and business issues.
• Manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal work, responsiveness, and client service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial litigation, business disputes, contract disputes, or other complex civil litigation matters.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Strong motion-writing and case-management skills.
• Ability to balance litigation objectives with clients' broader business and financial interests.
• Experience collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $140k-220k Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
