Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Attorney role based in Meridian, ID. The Litigation Attorney will manage diverse complex litigation cases from intake through resolution, including conducting legal research, analyzing case facts, and developing litigation strategies. Daily responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery requests and responses, and taking and defending depositions. The attorney will appear in state and federal courts for hearings, conferences, and trials, and will work closely with clients, experts, and support staff to prepare cases. The role also involves negotiating settlements, maintaining accurate case files, and collaborating with firm leadership to ensure high-quality, ethical representation. Salary $140,000 annually plus DOE plus perfotmance bonus potential and signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in litigation practice, including civil procedure, and evidence.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing motions and other litigation filings.
• Proven ability to handle matters in state and federal courts, including hearings, conferences, and pretrial proceedings.
• Experience preparing and conducting trials, including case strategy, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Skill in conducting depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts, and using deposition testimony effectively in litigation.
• Active license to practice law in Idaho, or eligibility for prompt admission.
• 3 plus years of litigation experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a small firm environment.
