Job summary

Randstad USA is assisting a Memphis-based law firm in hiring a Litigation Attorney. The attorney will manage commercial litigation matters, appear in court, and draft complex pleadings and motions. The role requires Tennessee Bar admission and 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation.

The candidate will handle discovery, depositions, and opposition research, working with leadership to advance cases and cross-sell services across offices.

Responsibilities

• Drive cases forward from investigation to resolution with leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-office practice groups to service corporate clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.

• Admitted to Tennessee Bar
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Excellent written and oral advocacy capabilities with a proven track record in motion practice and deposition management

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial litigation matters, regularly appearing and representing clients comfortable in court settings
• Draft, serve, and respond to discovery requests
• Take and defend depositins
• Research complex legal issues and draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, and dispositive motions
• Drive cases forward efficiently from initial investigation through resolution, working alongside practice group leadership
• Partner with cross-office practice groups to service corporate clients and identify cross-selling opportunities

Billable Hours:

1850

Salary: $145,000 - $180,000 (Based on experience)

• Bonus potential after exceeding billable hour requirement
