Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

LHH is working with a highly respected AmLaw firm to recruit an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join the firm's Nashville, Tennessee office.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of strong commercial litigation experience in a large law firm or sophisticated litigation boutique firm setting. This attorney will be expected to manage business litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of corporate and business clients in a variety of industries. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.

Compensation and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent and defend corporate and business clients in a variety of complex civil and commercial disputes
• Take and defend depositions and handle all phases of written discovery
• Draft a wide variety of pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Appear in court to argue motions and represent clients at trial

Qualifications

• JD from a top law school with outstanding academic credentials (top 25% of class strongly preferred)
• 4+ years of commercial or healthcare litigation experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
