Job summary

Rivkin Radler LLP seeks an associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join our litigation practice in Jacksonville, Florida. The attorney will work with a collegial team on complex insurance and coverage matters and handle litigation files from inception through trial.

Requirements include a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and an active Florida state bar license. Hybrid schedule: minimum three days in office, two days remote.

Responsibilities

• Work with a collegial team on complex insurance and coverage litigation matters.
• Manage litigation files from inception through trial.
• Prepare written discovery demands and responses, and discovery motions.
• Participate in deposition preparation and taking/defending depositions.
• Draft extensive dispositive motions.
• Draft reports and provide file analysis to the client and communicate with the client.

Rivkin Radler LLP is seeking an associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our litigation practice in our Jacksonville, Florida office. EOE Responsibilities include:

• Work with a collegial team of lawyers on complex insurance and coverage litigation matters.
• Handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial.
• Current cases involve state-wide UM coverage, PIP and Glass/Windshield issues in state and federal courts of Florida.
• Preparing written discovery demands and responses, along with discovery motions.
• Participate in deposition preparation and both taking and defending witness depositions.
• Draft extensive dispositive motions.
• Drafting reports and providing file analysis to the client and engaging in direct client contact.
• Attend court appearances for procedural motions, dispositive motions and trials.
• Minimal travel may be required.

Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must have an active FL state bar license.

Preferred: Excellent writing skills, as demonstrated by a writing sample. Proficiency in end-to-end case management, showing a comprehensive understanding of the legal process.

Hybrid Hours: Minimum 3 days a week in office 2 days a week remotely
