The attorney will work on complex insurance and coverage litigation, manage files from start to trial, and engage directly with clients while building a career in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida bar license required.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent writing skills demonstrated by a writing sample.
• Experience handling complex insurance and coverage litigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of lawyers on insurance and coverage litigation matters.
• Manage litigation files from inception through trial.
• Handle state-wide UM coverage, PIP, and Glass/Windshield issues in Florida courts.
• Prepare written discovery demands and responses, and related motions.
• Assist in deposition preparation and conduct witness depositions.
• Draft reports and provide file analysis to clients; maintain client contact.
• Attend court appearances for motions and trials.
• Occasional travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with a collegial team of lawyers on complex insurance and coverage litigation matters.
• Handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial.
• Current cases involve state-wide UM coverage, PIP and Glass/Windshield issues in state and federal courts of Florida
• Preparing written discovery demands and responses, along with discovery motions.
• Participate in deposition preparation and both taking and defending witness depositions.
• Drafting reports and providing file analysis to the client and engaging in direct client contact.
• Attend court appearances for procedural motions, dispositive motions and trials.
• Minimal travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must have an active FL state bar license.
• Excellent writing skills, as demonstrated by a writing sample.
• Proficiency in end-to-end case management, showing a comprehensive understanding of the legal process.
