Job summary

Illapa Search is assisting a Houston-based AM-ranked law firm to expand its Commercial Litigation group. The ideal candidate will contribute to a growing practice in a collaborative, high-caliber environment.

Key responsibilities include handling complex commercial disputes, participating in depositions, and supporting trial readiness. Texas Bar admission in good standing is required; a scientific or engineering background is a plus. On-site in Houston.

Qualifications

• Background in commercial litigation, product liability, or mass torts.
• Strong research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, and drafting discovery or expert motions.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent judgment and communication skills.
• Admission to the Texas Bar in good standing required.
• Scientific or engineering academic background a plus.
