Job summary

Gottlieb & Greenspan, a rapidly growing law firm at the forefront of healthcare reimbursement litigation, is seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. The attorney will independently manage an active caseload from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings, handling motion practice, settlements, and appearances in state and federal court.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, 3+ years civil litigation experience, and NJ/NY licensure (both preferred)

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (both preferred).
• Federal court admission (USD/NJ or EDNY/SDNY).
• Experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred but not required.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes.
• Engage in settlements negotiations.

We are seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative work environment with meaningful responsibility, direct case ownership, and strong opportunities for professional growth.

The Litigation Attorney will independently manage an active caseload and handle matters from inception through resolution. The role includes drafting pleadings, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and court appearances in state and federal court.

Responsibilities

Salary Range:

$140,000-170,000 / year, commensurate with experience
