Job summary

Koussan Law, a fast-growing personal injury firm in Detroit, is seeking a high-caliber Personal Injury Attorney to handle a substantial caseload spanning Michigan No-Fault, negligence, premises liability, and sexual abuse cases. We welcome seasoned lawyers and new licensees alike; compensation will reflect experience and value.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Michigan Bar Association.
• Experience in personal injury litigation (Michigan No-Fault highly desirable).
• Trial experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• A driven, professional attitude with a passion for client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents
• Represent personal injury clients in court, mediation, and arbitration
• Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties to build strong cases
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense attorneys
• Maintain regular client communication to update on case progress
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• TRIAL! (we actually take cases to a jury and through to a verdict)
