Qualifications

• Strong foundation in personal injury law and civil procedure.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents.

• Minimum of five meaningful personal injury jury trials to verdict.
• Proven ability to prepare and conduct trials, witness prep, and exhibits.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Litigation Attorney will join our team and handle personal injury matters from demand stage through resolution in a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and preparing cases for settlement negotiations and/or trial. The attorney will appear in state and federal courts, participate in depositions and hearings, and maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and guidance, committing to returning phone calls within one business day. The role also involves collaborating with paralegals and other attorneys, evaluating case value and strategy, and ensuring all filings and deadlines are met in compliance with applicable laws and court rules. The attorney is expected to contribute to a respectful, client-focused environment and uphold high standards of professional and personal ethics.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, including personal injury, civil procedure, and evidence.
• Experience drafting and arguing Motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Background appearing in Courts, handling hearings, and managing case calendars.
• A minimum of five (5) Meaningful Personal Injury Jury Trials to verdict.
• Proven ability to prepare and conduct Trials, including witness preparation and exhibit management.
• Skilled in taking and defending Depositions, and managing discovery strategy.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active Illinois bar admission in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal advocacy, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently while collaborating with a team.
• Commitment to client service, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Prior personal injury litigation experience is expected.
