Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina (NC).
• Motion practice experience.
• Second-chairing trials and/or trial assistance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement and trial.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondence.
• Conduct thorough case analysis, research and preparation for trial.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediation sessions.
• Develop and implement litigation strategy for all stages of litigation.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various legal matters.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to achieve best outcomes for clients.
