Job summary

Tyson & Mendes Denver is seeking an Associate Attorney with a solid litigation foundation and Colorado bar license to join our growing team. You will handle substantive assignments, participate in depositions and motions, and work directly with clients under the guidance of accomplished litigators.

This role offers meaningful responsibility, exposure to complex civil defense matters, and a clear path to trial experience within a national firm that values training, mentorship, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Colorado bar license.
• 2+ years insurance defense experience.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial.
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
