Job summary

Our client in Los Angeles seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Litigation Department. This full-time, on-site position handles high-value personal injury matters from filing through trial, working with senior attorneys and a support team to deliver strong results.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, active CA Bar license, and 1–3+ years of relevant litigation experience, with solid advocacy skills and client communication. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• 1–3+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Attend and argue at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and medical providers to build strong case strategies.
• Oversee and direct paralegals and legal assistants assigned to litigation cases.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to keep them informed and supported.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and pre-trial preparations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-exposure and complex matters.
• Maintain case files and documentation in compliance with legal and firm standards.
