Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking an experienced attorney to join its highly regarded commercial litigation team in New York City. You will represent clients in complex commercial disputes, manage all stages of litigation, and collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies.

Applicants must be admitted to the New York Bar, have 3+ years of commercial and business litigation experience, strong courtroom skills, and a track record of persuasive research and writing.

Qualifications

• Active New York Bar license is required.
• 3+ years of commercial and business litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom experience and litigation skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial and business litigation matters.
• Handle breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and related cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motions.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Develop litigation strategies with senior attorneys and clients.
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple matters.
