An Am Law 100 firm in Orange County seeks a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in California state and federal courts to join its Labor & Employment and Business Litigation practice. The role offers exposure to sophisticated matters and collaboration with a high-performing team.

You will represent clients in wage-and-hour and PAGA actions, manage discovery, draft motions, take depositions, and contribute to case strategy across complex matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in California state and federal courts.
• Experience handling employment litigation matters, including wage and hour and representative actions.
• Strong experience with discovery, e-discovery management, motion practice, and depositions.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including:
• Single-plaintiff employment matters
• Wage and hour class actions
• PAGA and representative actions
• Provide employment-related advice and counsel to clients
• Draft and respond to written discovery
• Manage all aspects of electronic discovery
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Take and defend depositions
• Support case strategy and collaborate with partners and team members on complex litigation matters
