Job summary

Williams & Towe Law Group in Kentucky seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. The attorney will manage cases statewide and work closely with experienced attorneys to develop litigation and professional skills.

The role requires drafting pleadings, handling discovery, conducting research, and representing clients in court. A JD and Kentucky bar license are required; litigation experience is preferred but not required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Kentucky
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities expected
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Litigation experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Preparing reports and case-related documentation
• Conducting discovery and responding to discovery requests
• Taking and defending positions
• Attending court hearings and other court proceedings
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, courts and other legal professionals
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal analysis
• Managing assigned cases and assisting with other legal matters as needed
