Job summary

A regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1-3 years of litigation experience. The candidate will join a supportive team of seasoned attorneys focused on mentorship. Responsibilities include drafting motions, conducting depositions, and advising on case strategies. Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses and support for professional growth. VA Bar Admission is required, TN Bar Admission preferred. This position is based in Bristol, Virginia.

Qualifications

• J.D. with 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in Insurance Defense.
• VA Bar Admission is required.
• TN Bar Admission is a significant plus for the Bristol location.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions, demurrers, and pleas in court.
• Conduct and defend depositions and manage written discovery.
• Attend mediations and assist with trial strategy.

Skills

Excellent writing skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines
