Golden, Rothschild, Spagnola, Lundell, Boylan, Garubo & Bell, P.C. (GRSLBG&B) seeks a Litigation Associate to join its New Jersey office, offering substantive responsibilities and mentoring in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of NJ litigation experience (insurance defense preferred), NJ Bar admission, and strong research, writing, and advocacy skills. After an initial in-office period, a hybrid schedule is available.

Formación

• At least 2 years of New Jersey litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar required.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Familiarity with New Jersey State court practice and electronic filing.
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and client-service skills.
• Experience with premises liability, transportation, trucking/automobile and rideshare claims, liquor liability matters, or other first- and third-party personal and commercial lines litigation is also beneficial.
• Federal Court admission and trial experience are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Managing an active litigation caseload.
• Communicating directly with clients and other professionals.
• Drafting pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Review and summarize medical and other discovery records.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Conducting legal research and developing case strategy.
• Appearing in New Jersey State and Federal Courts.
• Participating in conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other ADR proceedings.
• Working with experts and investigating factual and legal issues.
• Preparing matters for trial.
• Participating in and based upon experience, handling trials and appeals.
