Job summary

Golden, Rothschild, Spagnola, Lundell, Boylan, Garubo & Bell, P.C. seeks a Litigation Associate for its New Jersey office. The attorney will handle matters from inception through resolution, with direct client interaction and mentoring from experienced litigators.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of NJ litigation experience, NJ Bar admission, strong writing and advocacy skills, and familiarity with NJ court practice. Hybrid schedule following an initial in-office period is available.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our New Jersey Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful, hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop as a well-rounded litigator.

At GRSLBG&B, Associates are given substantive responsibility and are encouraged to take an active role in their cases. You will work alongside experienced litigators and trial attorneys who will mentor and support your professional development while providing opportunities to build your own skills, judgment, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

As a member of our New Jersey litigation team, you will have the opportunity to handle matters from inception through resolution, including:

• Managing an active litigation caseload

Our Associates receive meaningful courtroom and litigation experience while working collaboratively with Partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated matters.

Requirements

Qualified candidates should have:

• At least 2 years of New Jersey litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense litigation
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar required
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Familiarity with New Jersey State court practice and electronic filing
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Strong organizational, communication, and client-service skills

Experience with premises liability, transportation, trucking/automobile and rideshare claims, liquor liability matters, or other first- and third-party personal and commercial lines litigation is also beneficial.

Federal Court admission and trial experience are a plus.

$85,000-$140,000 per year, commensurate with experience

This position involves the active, in-person practice of law, including court appearances, depositions, client matters, and other litigation responsibilities. Following an initial in-office period, Associates are eligible for a hybrid work schedule consistent with the needs of their cases, clients, and the Firm.
