Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (or equivalent) required.
• Virginia bar license or eligibility pending bar results.
• 1–5 years of civil litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files and set action plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify pleadings and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events with thorough reporting.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
