Qualifications

• J.D. and active license to practice law in Missouri (Kansas licensure a plus).
• 1–7 years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a small team.
• Experience in real estate or construction litigation is a plus.
• Firm is open to training the right candidate for earlier-career attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters across a variety of practice areas, from case intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings and other court appearances.
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Support creditors' rights and transactional matters as needed.
