Ideal candidates will be admitted to the New York State Bar and possess strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or general liability/insurance defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of medical malpractice and general liability defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Review medical records and other case materials.
• Attend court conferences and depositions; participate in trial preparation.
