The role offers growth toward ownership, requires a New Mexico license (or immediate eligibility), and emphasizes strong research, writing, and analytical capabilities in a proactive practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active NM license or eligible for immediate admission.
• 3–8 years of civil litigation experience (courtroom and deposition handling preferred).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation files from intake through resolution or trial.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests, and appellate briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions, represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate directly with commercial clients, business owners, and individuals.
