The role offers a competitive base salary of $110,000-$170,000+ per year, performance-based opportunities, and a defined partnership-track for high performers.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling civil litigation matters independently.
• Strong motion practice, legal research, pleadings, and discovery.
• Depositions experience, and ability to communicate with clients and courts.
• Active license to practice in New Mexico or eligibility for NM bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies based on research and case analysis.
• Draft and file motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery responses, and related documents.
• Prepare for, conduct, and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and apply statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate with clients and manage expectations.
• Work with opposing counsel, courts, experts, and colleagues throughout the process.
• Independently manage caseloads while collaborating with partners and senior attorneys.
• Maintain case organization, deadlines, and litigation calendars.
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial when required.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to improve research and drafting efficiency.
