Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Wisconsin State Bar or eligibility for admission.
• Three+ years of litigation experience preferred (judicial clerkship experience valued).
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist partners in the representation of clients in a variety of civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and preparing deposition outlines.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing firm clients through responsive and high-quality service.
• Participate in professional networking and business development activities to cultivate new client relationships.
• Stay current on legal developments relevant to litigation practice.
