Whistler Partners is working with an elite litigation firm looking to add talented commercial litigation associates to its California team, with opportunities in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

This is a great opportunity for associates who want to do sophisticated litigation work without getting lost in a massive team. The firm is known for giving associates meaningful responsibility early, direct access to partners, and real opportunities to develop as advocates. The practice handles a wide range of high-stakes disputes, including complex commercial litigation, business torts, trade secrets, antitrust matters, financial disputes, and other bet-the-company cases. The sweet spot is associates with roughly 2–5 years of experience who already have strong litigation fundamentals and are ready for more ownership.

• Comfortable taking ownership and operating on lean case teams.
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and professional presence.
• Interested in building real courtroom and advocacy experience.
• Collaborative, thoughtful, and comfortable contributing a point of view.
• Clerkship experience is a plus, but not required.
• California Bar admission is required for the Los Angeles opportunity.

Candidates may be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco. The Los Angeles team is particularly interested in associates who can step immediately into complex commercial litigation, while the San Francisco opportunity is well suited to strong general litigators interested in a broad mix of business disputes and other sophisticated matters.
