Job summary

LHH is partnering with a respected Chicago-based litigation boutique focused on consumer financial services (CFS) matters. The firm is growing and looking to add two (possibly three) litigators to its team.

Attorneys handle sophisticated CFS disputes for banks, lenders, fintechs, and payment processors, with real responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and support to grow a practice in a low-bureaucracy environment.

Qualifications

• JD with 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Consumer financial services exposure preferred.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Active bar admission; IL preferred; OH/MI/FL/PA/CA/TX also considered.
• Interest in practice development and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Brief and argue motions; appear in court and before arbitrators.
• Take and defend depositions; examine and cross witnesses.
• Work directly with clients on strategy, exposure, and reputational risk.
• Handle class actions, arbitrations, and regulatory-adjacent disputes.
• Build your profile through industry conferences, panels, and publications.
