Heyl Royster seeks highly motivated attorneys with 1–5 years of litigation experience to join our established team in St. Louis.

The role emphasizes drafting motions, discovery, depositions, and active participation in court proceedings, with immediate exposure to meaningful litigation work in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited school and a current MO and/or IL license in good standing, with preferred experience in civil litigation,

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active Missouri and/or Illinois law license in good standing.
• 1–5 years' experience; preference for civil litigation, workers' comp defense, or medical malpractice.

Responsibilities

• Draft critical motions and develop written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in court proceedings.
• Work on complex, multi‑party litigation.
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting.
