Job summary

Orion Placement seeks a skilled associate to join a respected litigation team in Seattle. You will handle complex commercial litigation, product liability, environmental, and insurance coverage matters with mentorship from experienced attorneys.

This hybrid role offers onboarding followed by up to two remote days per week, a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based bonus opportunities, profit sharing, and ongoing professional development to support a long-term career in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage matters independently.
• 4+ years of litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation, product liability, environmental, and insurance coverage matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronically stored information and large document productions.
• Assist with trial preparation and provide courtroom support.
• Conduct legal due diligence involving contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in depositions, court hearings, and motions practice.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and legal support staff.

Location:
