Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with Kansas Bar or Missouri Bar.
• One to three years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with attorneys and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of civil litigation from case inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses.
• Take and defend depositions, participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Manage case files and meet litigation deadlines while maintaining high-quality work product.

Preferred Qualifications
