Job summary

Martin Pringle is seeking a litigation attorney with 0–5 years of experience to join our Overland Park, Kansas office. You will handle files from start to finish, with opportunities for courtroom appearances, mediation, and depositions, in a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment.

The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills and is eager to expand expertise in civil litigation, insurance defense, and related matters. This in-office role offers a flexible and balanced atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of litigation experience, ideally with a background and/or interest in insurance defense, healthcare negligence defense, or civil litigation
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials - or strong motivation to learn to do so from seasoned litigators
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Admitted to practice in Kansas or Missouri, and eligible to be admitted in both states
