Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Associate Attorney at Transcendent Law Group in New Orleans, LA. This pivotal role within our growing legal team offers a unique opportunity for talented and driven individuals to immerse themselves in a dynamic litigation environment. As a Litigation Associate, you will be at the forefront of our legal practice, handling a diverse array of complex cases and collaborating closely with seasoned attorneys. Our firm is committed to fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating atmosphere where you can refine your legal acumen and advocacy skills.The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating, and specializing in labor and employment law. The role involves daily tasks related to client representation, case analysis, and legal strategy development.

Litigation Associate Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in depositions and court hearings
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Review and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to cases
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization
• Maintain client communications and provide regular updates on case progress
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods
• Prepare legal correspondence and maintain thorough case files
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice
• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses
