Job Overview:

We are looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney who will be responsible for handling a variety of matters related to business, real estate and construction. The ideal candidate should possess or desire a strong understanding of general civil litigation, with the ability to manage complex cases effectively. This position offers a manageable workload with work life balance in an office setting in downtown Longmont. Our growing tight-knit team of attorneys and staff work closely with one another and look forward to welcoming another member.

Duties:

1. Manage civil cases and clients from inception to resolution, with mentorship and supervision.
2. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, letters, discovery, and related documents.
3. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on strategies and options.
4. Conduct legal research.
5. Collaborate well with the clients, Courts, other attorneys and staff members.

Requirements:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Colorado State Bar.
3. 0-10 years of experience practicing in general civil ligation, business or construction.
4. Understanding of the rules of civil procedure and a desire to learn and increase your skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
7. Residence in Longmont or reasonable commute to Longmont.
