Duties:
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research
Participate in court appearances, hearings, and trials
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
Engage with clients and maintain effective communication
Ensure compliance with procedural rules across jurisdictions
Requirements:
Licensed to practice in Maryland
Additional bar admission in VA, DC, or WV is an asset
1-5 years of experience in civil litigation preferred, though more experienced candidates will be considered
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple case files independently
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and good standing membership with the Maryland State Bar
Bar admission in additional jurisdictions (VA, DC, WV) is advantageous
