Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Admission to practice in Connecticut (NY/NJ/PA admissions a plus).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all phases of defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda
• Conducting legal research and preparing reports and legal analyses
• Participating in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate
• Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with client guidelines
• Maintaining accurate time records and billing entries
