Job summary

Haraka Headhunters LLC is assisting a NYC boutique law firm in finding a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney with at least 2 years’ auto and premises liability defense experience. The position is hybrid in Downtown Manhattan, offering direct client engagement and marquee clientele.

Requirements include a JD or LLM from a US ABA-accredited law school and NY State Bar admission in good standing; trial experience is a plus. Salary ranges from $135k to $185k, plus up to $15k end-of-year bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance defense experience in auto and premises liability.
• File handling from inception to trial with minimal supervision.
• Trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense matters from filing through trial with supervision.
• Engage directly with clients and coordinate with opposing counsel and experts.
• Contribute to case strategy and settlement discussions as needed.

Haraka Headhunters LLC is a legal search firm specializing in corporate attorney placements. We are currently working with a top-tier, NYC-based boutique law firm experiencing exponential growth and looking to add a few more seasoned litigation associates (trial experience is a plus) to their team!

What We Are Looking For...

• At least 2+ years of insurance defense with auto and premises liability experience.
• Must have recent file-handling experience from inception to trial with minimal supervision
• Trial experience is a plus

Education Requirements:

• JD or LLM from a US ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted and in good standing with the NY State Bar Association
