Job summary

McKelvy & Kim Search is seeking an experienced litigation attorney for a boutique focusing on complex commercial disputes in California. An active California bar license and 7+ years of top-tier litigation experience are required, with strong academic credentials and a proven writing record.

The ideal candidate can shepherd cases from inception to resolution, managing trial, mediation, and arbitration while mentoring junior team members.

Job description

Highly regarded complex litigation focused boutique law firm is looking to grow and hire a talented experienced litigation attorney to join their ranks. You must have an active California bar license in good standing, at least 7+ years of complex commercial litigation experience from a top tier practice (Am Law 100 or equivalent), nationally recognized academic credentials, and a track record of success handling day-to-day litigation responsibilities. Exceptional legal writing skills are non-negotiable (Law Review, Clerkship, and/or publications are persuasive credentials).

You must have the ability and desire to handle cases from inception to resolution (i.e. trial, mediation, arbitration, etc.). The ability to work effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a client-focused approach to problem-solving and having a keen eye for litigation strategy. A demonstrated self-starter mentality is highly valued, in addition to the ability to delegate and mentor.

No formal billable requirement. This is an on-site opportunity with flexibility as needed.
