Prince, Attorneys at Law, P.C. seeks a Litigation Associate to join a busy civil litigation practice in Los Angeles. Ideal for a California Bar recipient or 1–5 years' experience, including those awaiting July bar results.

The firm emphasizes hands-on exposure across business, real estate, international trade, copyright, and trademark cases. We offer a collaborative, family-owned environment with reasonable billing and a fast-paced workflow.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and legal writing skills.
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school is mandatory.
• Experience with discovery and motion drafting is preferred; entry level welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Prepare and oppose motions and pleadings.
• Appear in courts throughout Southern California.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Bring matters to efficient close, including mediation or trial.
• Participate in case strategy discussions, hearings, and client meetings.
• Direct, independent interface with clients and opposing counsel.
• Work on a variety of cases across practice areas.

Position: Litigation Associate (Immediate Start)

Prince, Attorneys at Law, P.C., a dynamic boutique civil litigation firm, is actively seeking a Litigation Associate to join our busy practice and contribute immediately. This position is ideal for an attorney who recently gained admission to the California Bar and is eager to gain hands-on experience across a range of civil litigation cases, as well as attorneys with 1-5 years' experience. We will also consider applicants currently awaiting results from the July bar exam.

We are a family-owned and operated firm, with reasonable billing expectations and a positive work environment. Most of our clients have been with the office for decades, and nearly all new clients come by way of referral.

Position Highlights:

• Immediate Exposure to All Phases of Litigation: This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the full life cycle of litigation, from pre-filing through trial. Frequent court appearances are required, as well as near daily interfacing with clients and opposing counsel. Our associates bring cases to trial very quickly.
• Diverse Practice Areas: Our cases span across business, real estate, international trade, copyright, trademark, and other varied civil matters, giving associates broad exposure to multiple areas of civil law. Our clients come from diverse business sectors and industries, as well.
• Collaborative Environment: We pride ourselves on our teamwork and collaborative approach. We're a close-knit team where everyone works together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients, many of whom have been represented by our office for many years.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Bar Admission: Admission (or eligibility for admission) to the California Bar. Applicants awaiting July bar exam results may be considered.
• Education: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school is mandatory. Please do not apply as an LL.M. without a JD.
• Experience: Some experience with discovery and motion drafting is essential; a strong background in civil litigation is a plus. Entry level is welcomed, as are attorneys in the first few years of their practice.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and legal writing skills, with an emphasis on detail and accuracy
• Mindset: Team-oriented, motivated, and excited to develop as a litigator in a fast-paced environment
• Location: Must be based in the larger general Los Angeles area, or preparing to quickly relocate.

Compensation:
