Job summary

Ropers Majeski PC is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Las Vegas office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of general civil litigation experience and be adept in managing cases from inception through trial.

Job description

Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic litigation practice has an opportunity for a Litigation Associate with a minimum of three years of general civil litigation experience to join our Las Vegas, NV office. Founded 75 years ago, Ropers Majeski maintains offices internationally and throughout the United States.

Skills and Educational Requirements

• JD with excellent academic credentials
• Minimum of three years of general civil litigation experience. Experience defending commercial disputes, consumer protection claims, professional liability claims, and insurance coverage and bad faith disputes are a plus
• Ability to manage cases from inception through trial, including preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, preparing for depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
• Experience with Federal Court is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery platforms
• Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner
• Current NV Bar admission in good standing is required
• Base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience
