Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate for our Karnes City, Texas office. The successful candidate will manage complex civil litigation matters, represent clients in state and federal courts, and provide strategic counsel on diverse litigation issues.

Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice in Texas, and bring 2–7+ years of civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• 2-7+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client counseling abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research on complex legal issues, statutes, and case law.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and discuss strategy.
• Oversee the discovery process, including document production and witness preparation.
• Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support as needed.
