Job summary

The successful candidate will draft pleadings, handle client reports, attend hearings, and contribute to trial preparation in a fast-paced environment. Admission to the Texas bar and a JD are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Texas.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong interest in civil litigation and courtroom practice.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

Germer PLLC is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience to join its Houston office. The Associate will assist with and, as experience allows, handle an active docket of matters, primarily supporting insurance defense and personal injury defense matters while gaining exposure to the firm’s broader civil litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney who is eager to build practical courtroom and case management experience, while also providing a strong platform for more experienced candidates who are ready to take on increased responsibility.
