Germer PLLC is seeking a Litigation Associate in Houston with 2–5 years of experience to support insurance defense and personal injury defense matters within civil litigation. The role offers flexibility in work arrangements based on experience and office alignment.

The successful candidate will draft pleadings, handle client reports, attend hearings, and contribute to trial preparation in a fast-paced environment. Admission to the Texas bar and a JD are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Texas.
• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong interest in civil litigation and courtroom practice.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
• Prepare client reports and case evaluations
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations if necessary
• Assist with case strategy and file management
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial as appropriate
