Job Title: Litigation Associate

About the Opportunity:

We’re partnering with a respected California-based litigation firm that has built a strong reputation representing healthcare professionals, hospitals, and insurers. They are currently seeking skilled Associate Attorneys with experience in Medical Malpractice, Insurance Defense, or General Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense to join their growing remote team.

This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to develop their litigation skills while working with a collaborative, seasoned legal team focused on complex and high-stakes matters.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a caseload of medical malpractice or insurance defense, or Lemon Law litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance representatives
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented litigation environment

What We’re Looking For:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed in California
• 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice, insurance defense, or general civil litigation
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience in Trials is a major plus
