Job summary

Qualifications

• At least two years of general office experience, plus at least one year in a legal office or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of legal principles and terminology.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to work with databases and online platforms.
• Strong communication with management.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible.
• Fluent English, both oral and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with common office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review files to determine status and next steps. Follow up with internal and external parties to resolve.
• Follow up to ensure files move through litigation and post judgment process efficiently.
• Obtain legal documents from court websites.
• Import documents into the Firm’s case management system.
• File legal documents with the court.
• Assist with docket management.
• Prepare, review, and assemble trial packages.
• Generate and prepare legal documents for Attorney review.
• Generate and track judgment documents.
• Communicate with enforcement officers, courts, banks, process servers, attorneys, and consumers.
• Record information in the Firm’s case management system.
