Job summary

Fridman Fels & Soto, PLLC is seeking a full-time litigation and white collar associate to join us in Coral Gables. You will learn directly from partners with real responsibility early and handle federal matters from day one.

We seek 2–4 years out of law school with strong research and writing, and experience in federal criminal defense, SEC enforcement, or complex civil litigation is preferred. Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, as our team works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, briefs, and memoranda in federal court matters.

• Support cross-border matters, including U.S. discovery for foreign proceedings.

Fridman Fels & Soto, PLLC is growing, and we are looking for a full-time litigation and white collar associate to join us in Coral Gables!

We are a litigation boutique founded by lawyers who trained at large firms and served as federal prosecutors. The Legal 500 ranks us Tier 1 among white collar boutiques nationally, and Chambers USA 2026 ranks the firm for White Collar Crime & Government Investigations and recognizes each of our founding partners individually. When the government calls, our clients call us: federal criminal investigations and prosecutions, SEC and other enforcement matters, and complex commercial disputes, including cross-border work connected to Latin America.

We are a close-knit, trilingual team that shows up for each other, and everyone here does substantive work. You will learn directly from partners, with no layer between you and the client or the case, and you will have real responsibility early.

What you will do

• Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda in federal court matters
• Take an active role in internal investigations and in government investigations, including grand jury and SEC matters
• Help develop case strategy and prepare for hearings and trials
• Support cross-border matters, including U.S. discovery for foreign proceedings and coordination with counsel in Latin America

What we are looking for

• Licensed to practice law in Florida
• Two to four years out of law school, with litigation experience (federal criminal defense, securities and SEC enforcement, or complex civil litigation preferred)
• Excellent legal research and writing, and sound judgment
• A federal judicial clerkship is a plus
• Spanish or Portuguese is a plus; our team works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
• Admission to federal courts is a plus
