Job summary

Foundation Prep seeks Paraprofessionals for the 2016-17 school year to support literacy-focused learning and collaborative planning. You will help create a structured, achievement-oriented classroom and participate in high-impact coaching from leadership.

You will work with a dynamic team to deliver small-group interventions, use assessment data to tailor instruction, and contribute to a culture of restorative practice and high expectations for all Prepsters.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, OR 48 semester units with Reading/Writing and Math coursework.
• Proof of ParaPro exam or related credential may be required.
• Criminal background check and CPR/First Aid training due within specified windows.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports student growth.
• Motivate Prepsters with a literacy-focused approach and small-group interventions.
• Foster a classroom community aligned with Foundation Prep FIRST values.
• Use daily/weekly data to drive instruction and adjust groups as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborative planning.
