Job summary

Curriculum Associates is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist (Literacy) to advance literacy instruction across K-8. Based in Long Island, you will travel up to 80% to partner with schools and districts, design and provide on-site professional learning, analyze data, and support implementation of literacy programs.

You’ll collaborate with educators and leaders, develop annual professional learning plans, and stay current on state standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience teaching Literacy/ELA.
• Strong knowledge of K-8 literacy instruction and evidence-based practices.
• Experience designing or leading professional learning for teachers and leaders.
• Willingness to travel nationally within designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted professional learning and ongoing job-embedded support.
• Conduct data analysis and manage projects related to literacy programs.
• Maintain consistent communication with district and school leaders.
• Support district-wide adoptions and implementations of literacy solutions.
• Deliver high-quality professional learning to teachers, coaches, and leaders.
