Monroe Township School District seeks a Literacy Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year at Monroe Township Middle School. The role begins January 4, 2027 and runs through June 30, 2027, with compensation following the MTEA Salary Guide.

Qualified candidates hold a valid NJ Instructional Certificate and may have a Reading specialist certificate or a Master’s in Reading; Orton-Gillingham or Wilson certifications are required. Prior data analysis familiarity is helpful, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Valid Standard New Jersey Instructional Certificate.
• Minimum experience as determined by the Superintendent.
• Reading specialist certificate or master's degree in Reading preferred.
• Orton-Gillingham Multi-Sensory and/or Wilson Level I and II certification required.
• Knowledge of New Jersey Tiered Systems of Support (NJTSS) and data analysis helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents, administrators, and staff.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
