Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with endorsement in area of assignment or appropriate license.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience/background in Early Childhood Education, Texas Reading Academies, RBIS, Dyslexia, and Instructional Coaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, delivers, and/or facilitates job-embedded professional development for districts, schools, or classrooms, including whole-group trainings with practice opportunities.
• Supports participants implementing a new skill, practice, or system with co-planning, observation, and real-time feedback.
• Conducts one-on-one coaching sessions to identify successes and develop capacity for growth in high-leverage areas.
• Provides technical assistance related to compliance, systems, or state requirements to individuals or small groups.
• Partners with schools to assess capacity needs and develop intentional scope and sequences of professional development.
• Analyzes data to drive instructional growth at classroom or school levels, identifying strengths and opportunities.
• Contributes to scaling and aligning best practices in instruction and leadership across departments.
• Supports culture-building within the Academic Services Department and across teams.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and ESC policies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Texas Teaching Certificate with endorsement

Three years of teaching experience

Master’s Degree preferred

Experience in Early Childhood Education / RBIS / Dyslexia / Instructional Coaching preferred
