Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Education, Literacy, Reading, Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, Educational Leadership or a closely related field.
• Minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• The Literacy Coordinator will provide leadership for literacy-related initiatives across educator preparation programs.
• Collaborate with faculty and external partners to support implementation of structured literacy requirements.
• Coordinate assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with curriculum alignment and program improvement efforts.
• Support collaboration between UNM Albuquerque campus and UNM-Gallup.
